Make Ahead Ideas 

Burrito Bowls

On the menu:  Skip the long lunch lines at the local burrito spot.  Instead opt for this make ahead burrito bowl.  This bowl is packed with delicious flavor and nutrient dense ingredients.


Ingredients used:

BLSL Chicken Thighs (organic), White or yellow onions, Assorted bell peppers (organic), Sweet corn (organic), 

Black beans(organic), Rice


Grass fed butter, Garlic powder,Onion powder, Cumin, Coriander, Chili powder, Brown sugar, Pink sea salt, Cracked back pepper, Fresh cilantro, Sweet paprika, Raw organic honey, Water (for deglazing), Worcestershire sauce, Limes (fresh),  Apple cider vinegar


Superfood booster option: A dab of grass fed butter (higher nutritional value than regular butter, loaded with vitamin A & omega 3 fatty acids.) Apple cider vinegar, known for its healing, cleansing, and rejuvenating properties.


Added Flavor options: 3-4 dashes of Hot and Worcestershire sauces added to chicken. The chicken is marinated in the sauces, dry seasonings, brown sugar, and extra virgin olive oil for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the refrigerator. 2-3 splashes of Apple cider vinegar added to the beans. Dry seasonings used to flavor the chicken are added to the beans.

Warm Spinach & Shrimp Salad

On the menu: Spinach salad elevation!  Take spinach to the next level with pesto, seared shrimp & onions, farm fresh boiled eggs, sweet dried cranberries, and thick cut bacon.


Ingredients used:

Baby spinach (fresh, organic)

Farm fresh eggs (see my go-to supplier below)

Shrimp

Red onions

Pesto (jarred)

Dried cranberries

Lemons (fresh squeezed)

Pink sea salt

Cracked black pepper


Added Flavor option:  Jarred traditional basil pesto added to shrimp for quick marinade 


Oil:  Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Seared Chicken Thighs & Green Veggies

On the menu:  Seared bone-in and skinless organic Chicken Thighs on a bed of crispy Green beans and Brussel sprouts.  


Ingredients used:  Chicken Thighs (organic), thick cut bacon(nitrate free), white or yellow onions, fresh green beans (organic), Brussel sprouts (organic), green & yellow bell peppers(organic), tamari soy sauce, fish sauce, fresh ginger, fresh garlic, raw honey (organic), water, pink salt, cracked back pepper, red pepper flakes.


Superfood booster options: Skin on & Skinless organic chicken thighs are used in this recipe. Chicken skin contains healthier unsaturated fat and helps to keep chicken moist and flavorful.  Tamari soy sauce and Soy Sauce are interchangeable in this dish. The noted difference between the two: Tamari is known to be wheat or “gluten free.” Soy Sauce is not wheat free, thus contains gluten.  


Added Flavor options: Fish Sauce, 1-2 dashes of sriracha sauce
