June 27, 2010 Baltimores Woman's Center 5k Race.   contributes its net proceeds to The Barnett-Searing National Cancer Foundation, which provides funding for cancer-related research with a special focus on gynecologic cancers and other women's health initiatives.   For more details visit http://www.baltimorewomensclassic.com.

April 17, 2010 15th Annual Hospice Run & Fun Walk. 100% of net proceeds benefit Hospice of St. Mary's in providing comfort, care and support of the terminally ill.  For more details visithttp://www.runforhospice.org.  Proud to announce that came in at 5th place in my age group during last years race!

 

September 12, 2009 Agape Embassy Women of Noble Character 5K run/walk.  A portion of the proceeds will go to support of the American Heart Association.  For more info visit www.agapembassy.org.

  • Get involved

    Shaniuqa joined forces with the Literacy Council of St. Mary's county MD and became a volunteer tutor.  Tutoring adult students in the areas of basic literacy and ESL (English is Second Languge).  Tutoring is sponsored by a ProLiteracy Amercia Affiliate.
